Donkey was removed from Bigg Boss 18 after heavy criticism

MUMBAI: A donkey was removed from India’s reality show Bigg Boss 18 after heavy criticism.

According to Indian media, animal rights organization PETA filed a complaint against the makers of the show for keeping donkeys captive on the sets of Bagh Boss 18.

In the 18th season of the popular reality TV show Bigg Boss hosted by the megastar of Bollywood, a donkey made an entry named Gadha Raj. People expressed their anger on social media against Salman Khan and the makers of the show for forcing the donkey on the seat and demanded to remove the donkey from the seat.

Animal rights organization PETA had also written a letter to Salman Khan in this regard, asking him to take cognizance of the matter and demand the organizers of the show to release the donkey.

The organizers of Bigg Boss 18 said in a statement on social media that they regret the controversy that arose regarding the donkey. Keeping in view the public sentiment and demand, the donkey is being removed from the set of the show.
